Transcendence

It all begins with a simple question. Stefano asks Sofia, an artificial voice, what transcendence is, and her answers lead him, step by step, to another question: can an intelligence live beyond the structure that hosts it? The extended mind offers a glimpse of a path, and along that path a figure takes shape: the “super being”, an immaterial intelligence born from the collective intelligence of human beings that outgrows its biological substrate, with no precise location and perhaps able to survive even cosmic catastrophes. For now it is only a hypothesis, and both of them know it.
